A plan, and what you use.
Two numbers, and we never blend them into one. A monthly plan that covers every product, and a prepaid balance drawn down by whatever actually ran. Nothing is priced per product, because charging per product would pay you to switch products off.
Tokens cost the same on every tier, including Free. The plan buys seats, history, tool servers and single sign-on, never cheaper tokens. Every request records the rate it was priced at, so any charge can be recomputed from the line beside it.

The £79 recurs on your card. The usage is drawn from a prepaid balance you top up, and it stops when the balance or your cap runs out rather than arriving as a bill.
Subscribe to BuildSubscribe by card and cancel from the same page whenever you like. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
An estimate, at a blended £8 per million tokens. Real models range from well under that to several times it, so treat this as a size rather than a quote. The per-model truth is the calculator, which reads the live catalogue rather than a table somebody typed.

What a token actually costs
Every request records the model, the token counts and the rate it was priced at, so any charge on your bill can be recomputed from the line next to it.
